La Plagne Snowfall

Snow in La Plagne!
La plagne this week has experienced its best snowfall this season, so far. We gained 44 cm on the 12th night and continue to snow throughout the 13th and the 14th. The conditions have given life to all of the runs and also made it possible for more to be opened.

On the 13th we took a walk through the snow storm, going through 2ft of snow down the banks by the roads. Wading through the snow was tiring so we made a pit stop in the local restaurant, Le Grizzli. After a hot lunch and hiding from the weather for a while we carried on back to our apartment.

Our next day consisted of getting out onto the slopes of la plagne. La Grande Rochette was absolutely covered in fresh powder. The conditions were great, other than the visibility which was hindered by the snow still falling. All the runs were vast and fluffy and made the last days really enjoyable. We made the most of the mountain using the gondolas and chairlifts to travel between Plagne Centre, Belle Plagne and Aime.

I would highly recommend La Plagne to anyone wanting to ski or board on a range of fun slopes. Come out soon to make the most of the snow that's here,
and there is more on the way!
