On a Thursday evening why not live like the Inuit for the night?
Your adventure begins with a 6pm departure from Montchavin. You are heading for the high mountains above Aime. Once there it’s a 60 minute snow shoe trek to your igloo. After a warming aperitif and settling into your igloo it’s off to a local restaurant for a typical Savoyard repas. A warm sleeping bag and comfortable mattress awaits you for a night in your igloo.
In the morning there is a snow shoe trek exploring the local environs with a knowledgeable local guide before transferring back to Montchavin for 11am.
Igloos sleep two and the maximum group size is eight people. The cost is 100 Euros per person. Book via the Evolution2 office in Les Coches or Montchavin.
PS Remember the strapline of the Inuit Lottery is, of course, “You have to be Inuit to win it”. I’ll get my coat.
