Update on Travel , Corona virus and peace of mind when booking with us for next winter season
We would like to start by hoping you are all doing well and staying safe in this tough and uncertain time. It has been a very confusing four months but things are slowly returning to some normality.
We understand that for some of you a ski holiday is not on the top of your list right now, but we would like to reassure you that it is still possible. Your ski holiday might seem a little different with extra measurements in place but rest assured your Ice and Fire experience will not change.
There are still potentially more changes to come as expected in the following months but here is what we know now.
Travel and Restrictions
As Travel restriction and lockdown measures are starting to ease, we are heading in the right to direction to getting back to normal or the new normal. Flights are starting to resume, and some airlines have realised some Winter flight sales, Take a look to grab yourselves a bargain at https://www.easyjet.com/en.
We had some extremely exciting news on Friday 3rd July Travellers from the UK can now visit France without having to isolate for 14 days under Government’s new plan

Sadly this year Eurostar have ceased travel on their snow train, you can still however travel by train and change in Paris.
Bookings for our winter season 2020/21
Here at Ice and Fire we want to help your still get your ski holiday. We have lowered our Deposit required to secure your booking, for all new bookings made between now and the 1st October we have reduced our non-refundable booking deposit from £200 down to just £50 per person.
This £50 per person is the only amount you will pay until 10 weeks before your holiday when we will ask for the remainder of your balance.
In case of resort closure due to Covid 19/ travel Restrictions after final payment a deferral of holiday to the following winter Season 21/22 will be made.

Covid 19 peace of mind when booking with us
The Coronavirus Epidemic has been extremely challenging for the Ski Industry as a whole, and the Economic Repercussions are likely to be felt across the Alps for some time to come. This has obviously not been an easy time for us, our team, our suppliers, and our communities in resort. So, we are joining with other Ski Companies to urge all of our guests (both returning and new) to continue booking as you would normally do for next year and to show your support for the Ski Industry.
At Ice and Fire our main focus and priority is our guest’s safety, Both in our Chalet and on the slopes. Every year we pride ourselves in offering a high standard of cleanness and restaurant standard food.
All management will be taken a covid-19 awareness course and are also asking all our new staff to take the safety course too. During training with our staff this season we cover managing social distancing, PPE for all staff, disinfecting of all high-touch areas, good supplies of hand-cleaning products, etc. Rest assured, we will have it covered. The guidance is changing all the time, but we will keep on top it so you do not have to and do our best to ensure you stay healthy and safe during your holiday with us.
Chalets
Chalet Campanules sleeps 24 and has facilities including Sauna, Tv room, comfortable lounge with log fire, free Wi-Fi, complimentary bar and a fully catered service. Located in an enviable piste-side position above Les Coches, this chalet is perfect for big groups of friends and family who like to ski in and out.
Chalet Edelweiss is located in Les Coches centre just a 200m walk from the piste. It has a sauna, hot tub, comfortable lounge with stunning views, complimentary bar, and a fully catered service. Sleeping up to 16 in 8 en-suite bedrooms this chalet is perfect for groups of family and friends who are looking for a relaxed luxury chalet in the heart of the Paradiski area.
Chalet Flocon sleeping 16 is the sister chalet to Edelweiss and is located next door meaning that large groups can reserve the two chalets together for up to 32 people. Chalet facilities include hot tub, games room, sauna, open plan lounge dining area with beautiful views, complimentary bar, and a fully catered service. Perfect for families and friends alike, this chalet ideally suits groups who would like to be close to the piste
